Fourth winner for Proclamation

02/07/10 - Wotsthehurry dashes home to score at Warwick

Wotsthehurry became the fourth winner for her first-season sire Proclamation when landing the seven-furlong maiden at Warwick on Friday.

Bred by the Italian operation Azienda Agricola Mediterranea, the bay filly was foaled in England and is out of the Trempolino mare Lalina. She was purchased as a yearling at Doncaster by Gill Richardson for trainer Mick Channon.

Wotsthehurry’s success marked a notable first British race win for New Zealander Cory Parish, who has had just a handful of rides since arriving in the country.

Proclamation, whose other winners are Rosina Grey, Magic Casement and Silver Alliance, is in fifth position on the first-season sires' table for Britain and Ireland.
