Listed hurdle winner for Sagamix

Four-year-old Un Beau Matin wins the Prix Rohan at Auteuil on his hurdling debut 4 March 2012

Four-year-old Sagamix gelding Un Beau Matin made it three wins from just six starts with victory in the Listed Prix Rohan over hurdles at Auteuil on Sunday.

Bred by N de Lageneste, he is out of the Video Rock mare Millesimee, and made his racecourse debut last August. Since then he has won an AQPS bumper over 2500m and has also won under Flat Rules.

Sagamix, a son of the great Linamix, has some exciting jumping prospects to his name, including the Willie Mullins-trained Flat Out and the Grade 3-placed hurdles winner Sagakit. At £1,500, 1st October terms, he represents great value for British jumps breeders on the look-out for a little French precocity.
