Give And Take wins the G3 Musidora to become her sire’s second Classic Trial winner.

The tenacious Give And Take became the third stakes winner of the season from the first crop of Cityscape when winning the G3 Tattersalls Musidora Stakes for her owner-breeder Nicholas Jones and trainer William Haggas.

She follows G3 Fred Darling Stakes winner Dan’s Dream in becoming the second Cityscape three-year-old to land a Classic Trial, while The Broghie Man beat a field which included G1 winner Sioux Nation, Dewhurst Stakes runner-up Fleet Review and Albany Stakes winner Different League to win the listed Committed Stakes in April.

The immediate options for Give And Take appear to be either the Oaks or the G1 Prix Saint-Alary at Longchamp on Sunday, 27 May, while Dan’s Dream is heading to the Irish 1,000 Guineas.

From a high-class family, Give And Take is the first foal of Grace And Glory, a full-sister to the multiple Group 1 winner and Irish Derby hero Fame And Glory as well as to the dam of 1,000 Guineas winner and Oaks runner-up Legatissimo.

Cityscape, who stands for just £4,500, now has 11% stakes winers to runners.
