The juvenile winners just keep rolling in for Ardad, who was represented by a double at Southwell on Thursday to take his tally for 2025 to 40.

Congratulations to trainer Dylan Cunha for winning with Baker Blue on his first start for his Newmarket stable, and to Jamie Osborne for coaxing the tough-as-teak Ten Carat Harry to a fifth win of the year.

This means that Ardad is the sire of two of the three juveniles to have won five races in Britain and Ireland this year, the other being the Hugo Palmer-trained Ardisia.

Ardad is also the number one sire standing in Britain by number of two-year-old winners in 2025, and by number of juvenile stakes winners, with five in total.

His fee for 2026 is £7,500, which, let’s face it, is really just too good to pass up.
