Tadej, one of the 13 juvenile winners for Ardad this season, took his fledgling career to the next level on Sunday when winning the G3 Prix de Cabourg in the hands of Hollie Doyle.

The Archie Watson-trained colt already had black type to his name after finishing third in the G2 Prix Robert Papin and he broken his maiden in May at York, where he beat subsequent G2 Coventry Stakes runner-up Do Or Do Not.

Bred by Niall O’Keeffe and Matt Camacho under the Jinky Farms and Partner banner, Tadej is out of the Frankel mare Tilly Frankl, a daughter of the G1 Prix Jean Romanet winner Ribbons, who is in turn out of a sister to the brilliant Soviet Song.

Tadej, who holds entries for the G2 Gimcrack Stakes and G2 Mill Reef Stakes, is now of five black-type-earning juveniles for Ardad this season, including last week’s Listed winner Wor Faayth and fellow stakes winner Queen Martina.
