The Sir Mark Prescott-trained Bosphorous Rose landed her third win in four starts this season with a convincing victory over a mile and a half at Catterick in the hands of Luke Morris.

The three-year-old daughter of Golden Horn has now won on a range of surfaces from firm to soft, and looks as progressive as she is versatile. In seven starts she has never finished out of the first three.

“The ground was a concern today because she is so effective on firm ground but she is very straightforward and very honest,” said the winning jockey.

Bosphorous Rose was bred by Imad Al Sagar’s Blue Diamond Stud and is out of the Lawman mare May Rose.
