The progressive Divina Grace continued to do her sire proud with a battling win in the G3 John Porter Stakes at Newbury on her seasonal debut.

The Godolphin-bred daughter of Golden Horn was a Listed winner for Rae Guest last year and joined Andrew Balding’s stable on the announcement of Guest’s impending retirement from the training ranks.

Now a six-time winner for the Top Hat And Tails partnership, the five-year-old mare now holds an entry for the G2 Middleton Stakes at York on 15 May.

Divina Grace joins Botanik, Gregory, Trawlerman, Goldenas, Higher Leaves, Yellowbrick Road, Caius Chorister, Haskoy and West End Girl on the burgeoning list of Group winners for Golden Horn.
